After I changed the servers settings for incoming and outgoing servers to websitesmail.att.com and restarted TB. As expected I was prompted for the passwords. I have 2 accounts and each has a new user name (email address).

I then looked at the saved passwords and it showed incorrect user names for these accounts.

The settings for each account has the correct user names.

How can this be? I am able to send messages between accounts. It seems the saved passwords that are shown are correct but the user names are not. I can send messages to be sent and received. The mailbox shown for each entry is also incorrect. It shows pop.attglobal.net for one and pop1.attglobal.net for the other when they both should be websitesmail.att.com

Seems like this password information is contained elsewhere then what is shown in the saved passwords. The attached jpg shows the saved passwords, user name usinet.mrmarty and mkovacs are the problem entries. Note the last entry for the outgoing mail is correct.

Running Windows 7 64bit.

No screenshot.  :(

I'd go to Tools|Options|Security|Passwords->Saved Passwords and delete all entries pertaining to these accounts.

I deleted the incorrect saved passwords but they just returned the next time I booted (after the password entry prompt).

See the attached screen shot.

Tried to attach this with my original post but did not upload after 5 minutes. The usernames in question:

usinet.mrmarty and should be mrmarty@attglobal.net

mkovacs should be mkovacs@attglobal.net Note the outgoing server (last in the list) is correct. This address is what should be shown for the usernames above.
