i cant get my notebook and a seperate monitor to have different screens. there both the same or ones blank
i know its a simple fix i am just missing something. i hooked up a external monitor. but there either the same or ones blank. i want to have a movie playing on the monitor and be able to use the note book on the web..

This is on Windows 7? Try using the "Projector" settings (Window key + P) and choose Extend. Or use the Display control panel to track down the multi-monitor settings.
That said, I don't know whether Firefox's full screen works well in that mode.
