Why is my sync on all my computers over writing not merging the bookmarks?
All my computers are running FF 40.0.3 I synced the computer that had the most recent data to the server on a new account. I go to login to another computer and login to the sync there but it overwrites the previous sync completely and checked the first system it has the second computers bookmarks. I have to restore the original on the first system from a back up. I need this to work where it merges any updated bookmarks from all my computers like chrome does for one of my workers.

I understand that you need it to update the bookmarks for all computers. Currently the sync is on a merged system where it merges all of the active devices connected to the sync account. Any changes made offline then synced back (seems to be what you are experiencing) I might recommend keeping the account connected.
The issue is that it is not merging them it is replacing the copy on the server with the one from the computer I am on which is outdated I had to go to the most updated one and restore the bookmarks from the back up. The merging is not working at all for me.
In order to start over on the server it must be deleted first with the devices unattached. I hope this helps.
I unattached them all and made a new account it still happens.
