I have used Firefox for years and have loved it. I have it on my HP desktop, my MS Surface Pro and on my Android phone. It works perfectly on the phone but will not function on either my Surface Pro or on my HP desktop. I have removed the sync and have reloaded the app numerous times. Most recently it didn't reinstall my favorite toolbar so I am flummoxed. I just upgraded to Win10 and downloaded the new version but the same thing happens.

Help! I really like Firefox but can't continue this way.

You may have corrupt sessionstore file(s).

Type about:support in the address bar and press enter.

Under the page logo on the left side you will see Application Basics. Under this find Profile Folder. To it’s right press the button Show Folder. This will open your file browser to the current Firefox profile. Now Close Firefox.

Locate all the sessionstore files. Then rename or delete it. Restart Firefox.

Having more than one version of a program may cause issues. You must remove the older programs. Then get the current full installer.
