Inbox not what opens first, cannot delete messages or open messages easily. Tried to make new trash box, didn't work.c t
Thunderbird problems. I restored my computer back to 1 month ago. Opened Thunderbird...it.opened to a Home tab not the Inbox, could delete messages only with difficulty if at all, could only get to Inbox by opening in new tab, options under tools does not open. I tried the suggested fix for the deletion problem, did not work. Is my email possessed?

We see people with issues following these restores all the time. They appear to be hit and miss and when they miss the break more than they fix.
On the toolbar 
then 
Select the Extension entry and remove the lightning extension. (calendar) restart Thunderbird when prompted. Return to the add-on manager and reinstall Lighting.
