I'm using Thunderbird 41.0.2 and the write window to compose new messages has lost the ability to be able to send messaeges. The send buttoon has disapeared.
I cannot forward or send new compositions in Thunderbird 41.0.2, because the compose window has mysteriously lost the send button. It just seemed to happen overnight. Help

Open a new Write message.
In the 'Composition toolbar', do you see 'Spelling', 'Attach', 'Security', 'Save', but no 'Send' button? If yes: right click on the 'Composition Toolbar' and select 'Customise'.
If there is a 'Send' icon, left click and hold down to grab it. Then drag it onto the 'Composition Toolbar'. Release mouse to drop it in position.
Else Click on 'Restore Default Set' button. click on 'Done'.
