In Thuderbird, can see emails, will not open when clicked on
I have Thunderbird emails saved as such. Open the Thunderbird program, can see the files on the left (GMails 2015 directory). Double click on one of the files then -- nothing. I'd expect to be able to open the email and read it but nothing happens

I wonder if your anti virus has quarantined or deleted your mail store. Right click the folder, select properties and then repair to index what is actually in the store, rather than what was in it.
