I want Links to open in a New toolbar Window, NOT a New Tab +Firefox 43.03
Using: windows 10 64bit and Firefox Firefox 43.03 I would rather not use tabs. I would like to open new windows in windows task bar.

Type about:preferences#general<enter> in the address bar. Under Tabs, turn off Open New Windows In New Tab.

For links opened via JavaScript you can look at this pref:
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.
