Thunderbird informs me that my email addresses are not IMAP4 compatible
I have had to re-install Thunderbird after a windows 10 upgrade crashed my computer. I have reverted to windows 7 but now cannot access mail due to the IMAP4 problem. What should I do?

set them up as POP perhaps? if they are not one they will be the other.
