It keeps asking for the password and then it won't take it. Why?

The password is in there and nothing has changed yet it keeps asking to put it in and then asks again and again and does not accept it and there is nothing wrong with the password. Just ridiculous! How does this get fixed?

What password are you being asked for - your account password or the master password (in case you have set one)?
