The Trusteer Rapport icon does not appear in the address bar in the 27 January 2016 update (44), the same problem occured wth update 42 and update 43, although I did not raise a question on the forum. I have tried refreshing Firefox and then reinstalled after uninstalling and removing all references to firefox in the registry etc. The Trusteer Rapport program is not an Firefox addon or browser extension but Firefox does need to recognise that the Trusteer Rapport program is running in the background. My previous solution has been to use Internet Explorer until I noticed that the icon was appearing in the Firefox address bar. However, given this is the third time the problem has occurred, I decided to post a question.

Firefox 44 is not yet listed as a supported version on this page:

That said, if you had the same problem in the supported versions of Firefox, perhaps you haven't updated Rapport in a while?

to jscher 2000 - thank you for the link to the Trusteer support web-page. Version 44(32 bit) is now showing as supported. But there is an issue with the download (IBM are aware and discussing with Microsoft). Looking at the properties for the downloaded file it looks to me as if the IBM issue could be that the digital signature expired on 26 January 2016.

I use Rapport regularly and, as for Firefox, I have Rapport set to check and update automatically so I should always have the latest update.

Based on current experiences it appears to me that the answer is for me to turn off automatic updates and check compatibility before updating.
