had email thru ATT for 1 yr and switched back to TWC. Was and continue with Thunderbird with no problems while on ATT or in past with TWC. Trying to set up email address with TWC and need to know the correct port settings, server names, authentications for incoming using IMAP and outgoing SMTP.

Email providers configure their servers and know their settings. Have you looked for this info on their site or asked them?
