I want to be notified of update availability but not Harassed continually if I choose not to update!

I had to downgrade from 45.0.2 as Google Voice plugin does not work with it.

When 45.0.3 appears I will try that but 45.0.2 is not getting on my system again! I had to do a complete restore to get my extentions all working again. It even removed a few rather than disabling them.

This upgrade method is not even worth the effort anymore. Pretty soon I'm just going to stop updating as the cure is worse than the illness.

I keep all known vulnerabilities blocked anyway and those are some of the extensions FF removed!!! WTF

I've only been doing this before http existed so what do I know? Stop treating me like I'm an Apple user!

With that setting, you are told there is an update when available. It will not remember if you choose not to do so.

OK, so pointing out the obvious? Just stop wasting my time.

I hit it with a sledge hammer and removed the programs capability to bother me. I would have liked a more elegant solution.

Type about:preferences#advanced<enter> in the address bar.

Under Advanced, Select Update. Check the settings.

I'm aware of those setting and have "Check for updates, but let me choose whether to install them" selected.

That is not the issue. Reread my initial post please.
