Where's the "Update Now" button?
Why on the about:preferences#advanced page is there NOT an "Update Now" button?
Seems counter intuitive to need to go to Help/About to force an update and simple to add the button among the other update options.

I agree, it seems like a logical feature. Usually if automatic updates are selected, when an update is available, a notification will come up asking permission to update (with my default settings anyway) and after checking each of the options there is not a button like that that exists yet.
I might suggest to leave this feedback in [input.mozilla.org] in order to suggest it as a feature to the devs. Thank you.

Another place that you can find the update now button is in the About Firefox page. Click on the Settings Menu, the Question mark then the About Firefox.
On Windows, this can also be found in the Help > About Firefox menu.
Great posts of the obvious. Yes, I know one can go to Help/About.
What I want to know is why, when one is on the section in settings labeled "FIREFOX UPDATES", there isn't a button to Update NOW!
It just seems like a logical place, where ALL THE OTHER update settings are to also have a button to do it NOW!
Kind of like how I can go to a menu or use a shortcut key. Or many other examples of there being more than one way to accomplish a function. In this case it is a matter of having all the update options in one place.
