I got a new phone, it's a Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro with Android 5.1.1 and Firefox 46.0.1. After I enabled syncing, everything except my bookmarks were synced. I have made sure to enable bookmark syncing under the syncing options. I tried disconnecting my Firefox account and signing in again. I also tried unchecking bookmarks syncing and checking it again but nothing has worked. My history and tabs from Desktop PC are syncing without problems.

On my previous phone which was a Samgung Galaxy S3 Mini with Android 4.2.2 that has Firefox 46.0.1 , I was able to see a folder called "Desktop Bookmarks" on my phone. My bookmarks in Google Chrome are syncing and all my other apps are syncing without problems.

Below is a screenshot of my sync settings

Somehow, this is now working. I haven't changed any settings nor have I seen any updates to the Firefox app. My guess is that due to the vast amount of bookmarks I have, it was taking the app a while to download them.
