Hi, my mozilla firefox has updated quite a few times in the last few weeks and whenever this happens I can't open word/excel etc and have to do a system restore and then reload mozilla. I have checked my programs and this is the only program that has been updated during this time. Once restored it will work until mozilla updates again and I have to do a system restore again.

It is becoming extremely frustrating and since mozilla is the one of the very few browsers that supports vista I am starting to get a little concerned. The message coming up is "The configuration changes made to Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 will not take effect until your computer has been restarted. Would you like to restart now? yes/no". If I select yes it restarts but still won't open just keeps giving me the same message and as mentioned above when I do a system restore all is fine until mozilla updates again.

Could someone please let me know how to stop this, it just shouldn't be happening.

I think this might be your issue where another program might be prompting that message and an update may be needed: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/k.../942995

However is there an add on or extension that is not present after the update, it might be something there with incompatibility with that add on?
