When going to any site other than google i do not see any Http: or Https. When I use IE on the sites I am searching they show up with the http and https. What can correct this security issue. thankyou

Firefox hides the HTTP protocol by default in current Firefox releases, so you only see the domain part and the remainder of the URL (path).

You can set the browser.urlbar.formatting.enabled pref to false on the about:config page to disable the highlighting of the domain and see the full URL more clearly. You can set the browser.urlbar.trimURLs pref to false on the about:config page to see the http: protocol on the location bar and in the pop-up if you hover a link.

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.
