It works fine here. Tried safe mode? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/safe-mode-thunderbird
I tried your suggestion several times, several ways. Even deleted and re-entered contact in address book. NO JOY! BTW happens on all contacts I tested on. Now What?
Does this happen if you create a new profile?
