After a certain time running normaly with the Firefox cache limited at 350Mo. The Navigator, after 15 seconds, make my hard drive run at 100% whatever i do. I have tried to empty the cache in 'Advanced Options' and restarting, still no solution. By the way in 'Advanced Options' under 'Cached Web Content ' it tell me 'Calculating the web contenu in cache...' and never change whatever i try!

What is your computer system and Firefox?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?

browser.cache.disk.capacity

and using the reset option. Note the pref used KB the Options use MB (Conversion factor X 1024) Note details of the cache may be found by keying in to the address bar

 about:cache

Or specifically about:cache?storage=disk&context=
