I've got it set up that when I start Firefox it opens up the same way as when I closed it down. I usually have at least 3 tabs open, including a couple of email accounts. In the past, all my tabs would open automatically and I could quickly glance at my email tabs to see if I had new emails. But now only tabs I individually click on show the current status. I often forget to click on the email tabs and assume I have no new emails because the counts don't show in the tabs. I don't know what has changed but I would like to get my settings back to the way they used to be--as soon as I open Firefox ALL my open tabs show their current status without me having to click on them.

You can right-click in those tabs and select "Pin Tab", so when Firefox opens it'll reload the pinned tabs. Or you could simply right-click in one tab and select "Reload all tabs".

Pinning the post just puts it on the left hand side of the screen where you can't see new emails. Clicking "reloading all tabs" works, but I wish there was some way to make it work the way it used to--just loading them automatically each time without having to click on anything.

Hi, pinned tabs will actually change colour (in a rather subtle way) when you have new mail - apart from Outlook (that I know of) which plays a sound.

Alternatively, you might like to try https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/xnotifier/
