The Firefox installers will place the programs in the proper place. Do not worry about it.
32-bit Firefox on 64-bit Windows is C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe
Besides that was a old thread a year before there were Win64 Firefox builds for Release as first Win64 Firefox Release was 42.0 back on November 3, 2015.
The Win64 Firefox Release are listed in www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/
