my home page was changed I changed it back but keep getting nagged to undo that. Babylon is not one of my installed programs. How do I stop this
I suddenly found some unwanted page I had never seen before as my home page. I changed it to the home page I want. Now several times a day I get a message from firefox saying my page was changed with two choices "change it back" , which is marked and something like leave it. I check the second option but it immediately reverts to the first. Then if I check it again the obnoxious intrusion finally goes away. I tried following the instructions to uninstall Babylon, but it was not listed as one of my installed programs. How can I get rid of this intrusive annoyance?

Hi
It sounds like you are having an issue with some potentially unwanted software that is interfering with Firefox.
I recommend having a read of this guide that will walk you through some potential solutions.
I also recommend having a read of this article that will help with the specific issue you are having.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
- Do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

Extensions that do not have a "Remove" button are installed globally by other software and are not under control of the Firefox extension manager. Globally installed extensions are usually found via a registry scan or are installed in a location that Firefox scans for installed extensions.

Extensions installed this way need to be removed via the settings (options/preferences) of the program that has added this extension or this program has to be uninstalled via "Control Panel > Programs". In Firefox you can only disable such an extension.
You can open the file in the Scratchpad ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Web Developer). Click the "Pretty Print" button to format the file for readability. Search for the extension in the extension.json file and check its descriptor field for its install location.
