FF 50.0.x leaves behind part of Window frame on exit

The light-blue bar across the top of my screen (image #1) is left behind by Firefox V50.0.0 et. seq. It's not QUITE the same size, sometimes it's "L" shaped (has short sides) and seems to be an occasional artifact. Not always the same shape, but PART of the original window frame. Color is the same as my selected light-blue frame, but often (like this one) includes bits of text. The second image happened as I opened and closed another FF windows to check some data, while the first window was open with this form on screen.

It is only an artifact of FF; no other programs exhibit the behavior. And, it is inconsistent; not always does closing FF leave vestiges. I generally only use FF, but my occasional use of IE 11 never exhibits the symptoms. No, Chrome is not installed.

My system is a very stable Windows 7 SP1, x64, updated through KB 3185591. (In retirement, I still manage a dozen or so other computers for other small businesses in my town; haven't see it there, but most of them just stick to IE 11...against my better judgement.) It MIGHT be the video card I use (to keep power consumption and heat down), an ATI Radeon HD 3600 manufactured by HP. The system is a Dell Optiplex 960 w/ 8GB RAM.

WRT to System description; I don't use SharePoint; another "feature" forced on customers by Microsoft.

hello, maybe that's an issue with hardware acceleration - please try updating your graphics driver, or in case this doesn't solve the issue or there is no new version available at the moment, disable hardware acceleration in the firefox menu ≡ > options > advanced > general (that setting will take a restart of the browser to take effect).

Thank you, philipp, your "firefox menu" solution was, indeed the issue. Unchecking that solved the problem.

I would think, however, that if the graphics driver doesn't offer "hardware acceleration," that option should have a null meaning, irrespective of setting.
