bahshname321.org keeps popping up (literally I get a pop up without clicking anything) when I use Thunderbird, offering me an URGENT SECURITY UPDATE and a long link "https://bahshname321. org xxxxxxxxxxxxx /836412289642/77c76086413c4349796ebbb906a3c39c/aeb6924fabc81f50496cb2949a1d78ee.html" (without xxxxs) - which I have neutered here. Is this valid? How does it pop up in TBird?

not that I am aware of, but without the full details I have no real idea where it might be coming from. An add-on cound be. what add-ons do you have installed?
