Thunderbird 52.1.1 (32-bit)

When I Forward an e-mail it adds complete visible header information. This clutters the e-mail and is unacceptable. When forwarding from Outlook this information is not visible.

How can I configure Thunderbird to hide all this header information when I Forward e-mail?

Thank you

This solution assumes that Headers is in the View menu. Most of the options previously in the View menu have disappeared. How can I find these options in the new version? How can I do all the stuff which has disappeared?Airmail said

There are no assumptions made here. From the Menu bar select View-Headers-Normal

If your menu bar is hidden, press the Alt key and it magically appears.

If using the 3 bar AppMenu button is is a little different. Click the AppMenu button and then select View-Headers-Normal.

This is the same for the current version and as many older versions that I can remember.

I have discovered that , when I click View, I sometimes get the abbreviated menu, and sometimes i get more or less the whole menu. I I bring up the abbreviated menu, how cab I change it to full men?

I have the menu bar, including View. Previously when I clicked View, I got a pretty long menu, with a number of options which I have used in the past. Now, since the recent update, I usually get a very short, four item menu. Sometimes, however, I get the longer menu with the options I have been using.

If I get the short menu, how can I get the longer one instead? Is there a way I can set it to get the longer menu every time?

Start Thunderbird in Safe mode from the Help menu. Then figure out what you have added to it to screw up the menus. Stock Thunderbird shows the same menu all the time.
