Since switching to Win 10 and updating TB, my printer no longer shows as an option for printing an email. How do I fix this?

I've never had this trouble with printers, so this advice is based on hearsay. Go to Tools|Options|Advanced, select the General tab and click the button named Config Editor. You may be warned about the possibility of causing damage. Tell it you'll be careful. In the search box at the top, type printer and the lower pane will show all your settings related to printing. I think you can safely reset or remove all of these, forcing Thunderbird to rebuild its list of available printers. It may be sufficient to reset just the printer.print (or is it print.printer?) setting. You right-click an entry to get a menu, or double click it.

Tried it, No noticeable change.

Figured it out.

Not a TB problem at all. Win 10 issue but I just hadn't noticed it elsewhere. Reinstall with updated drivers fixed it,

Thanks yet again!

Having reviewed the settings, I think print_printer is also one you need to clear or reset. This stores the default printer's name. If cleared it should prompt Thunderbird to ask you for the printer to use.

Can't find that one.

Thank you for taking the time though!
