print preview no longer works since the latest update in Thunderbird
tried uninstalling Thunderbird and reinstalled and it did not work. Everything worked fine until the latest update.

Does it help if you open Tools/Options/Advanced/General/Config. editor, right-click the preference print_printer, Reset?

Reinstalling will not help :)
Are you using version 52.2.0 on Windows 10? What happens if you go back to version 52.1.1? https://releases.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/releases/52.1.1/win32/en-US/
No still the same result. It looks like it tries to load as it screen flashes for a millisec then closes.

Ok I did try that on the newer version and it did not work, but with putting in the older version and doing the reset it did work.
