I downloaded firefox but it doesn't work. It has an application error: the instruction at 0x3f359352 cites to memory at 0x00000000.

Try installing with this full installer version 56.0.1 https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/
If /or come back no info came in about your OS and what Extensions/plugins you are using so please let us know if running Firefox and which version and the above please.
