Can you bring back the 'X' on the 'Top Sites' so that I can remove them easily without clicking on the '...' and then selecting dismiss...please...?
I used to be able to just open a new tab and click on the 'X' that appeared on the top right..quick...easy...but now I have to hover over the top site icon, click on the '...' that appears, move down, and click the 'X' for dismiss.
Please bring back the 'X' directly on the icon so that unwanted sites can just be dismissed directly...this saves a lot of time especially after I have visited a number of sites that 'bump' more important ones in the queue.

Hi @CPRenaud. I understand your frustration. I am just a support volunteer and do not work for Mozilla, but have a suggestion for you. There is an article on Winaero here which might help:

Under the heading "Enable Classic New Tab Page in Firefox 57" it shows you how you can get back the old page (presumably with X's to dismiss unwanted Top Sites) which might be worth considering?
If you use "Top Sites" a lot, you might also consider using this "Top Sites Button" extension:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/top-sites-button/
