When pressing Ctrl+Delete in Gmail, it doesn't delete the following word if it's the last word on the line. Is this a bug?
Pressing Ctrl+Delete works as expected everywhere - deleting the following word. On Win 10, using Firefox Quantum 57.0.2, in Gmail, it doesn't.

Because those functions doesn't translate to Gmail not all keys that work on your computer in Windows translate over. That or your configuration is messed up in Gmail and that is something you need to check on. But functions on Windows and Office doesn't always mean they translate over to others unless they run Windows pedigree system setup.
Thank you for your reply, WestEnd.
Ctrl+Delete is something I use regularly, and seeing as this works in Gmail in Chrome but not in Quantum, I am rather surprised.
I don't have any special configuration for Gmail and am told that this happens there for other Win 10 users.
I just did a test in this Reply box and it works here as it does normally. If I had an older version of Windows or an older version of Firefox then I would test this functionality there.
Would you try 'Ctrl + Backspace' and see if that'll work ?
Thanks, Happy112. Ctrl+Backspace works as normal. It's only Ctrl+Delete that doesn't work on the very last word in the body of the email. Ctrl+Delete even works on the last word in the subject line.
