Long time user of Firefox, but the new Firefox for my windows 10 system ran very badly. Caused great delays in access to the web, provided choppy delayed response when scrolling on selected web pages. I was unable to restore the previous version of Firefox and was forced to removed Firefox completely and switch to another browser for acceptable service. Please Fix this new version or allow download of the previous version.

First, Type about:preferences#advanced<enter> in the address bar. Under Advanced, Select Update.
[v56+] Type about:preferences#general<enter> in the address bar. Select Update.
Select Never Check For Updates.
Also turn off Use a background service to install updates
Install Older Version Of Firefox {web link} Be sure to read everything here.
If you still want to downgrade, look under; I still want to downgrade. Click the Directory of other versions and languages link. Look for the directory of the version that you want. But, remember that old versions may have security issues.

I had re-tried to download the new version of Firefox after removing all previous Firefox software in the computer two times. However the new download produced the same results. I have always liked Firefox in the past but this new version was to aggravating to use. I would like to know if this is a known problem which has a fix/update before trying to download it again.
