ENTER key doesn't go to website after disabling autocomplete
I turned the annoying search/show stuff from the address bar since it keeps putting the WRONG website (that's close to what I'm typing, even though I type the whole address) in.
Now, however, when I type in a website, I can no longer hit ENTER/RETURN to have it GO there, I have to switch to the mouse and click the arrow to actually go.
What's with that?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
Can't do at the moment, but I downgraded back to 58.0.1 and problem is resolved so it's something to do with the .2 update, not the fact that I turned off the address bar suggestions.
If/when I re-upgrade (or when .3 comes out), I'll check in safe mode.
Thanks.
Hi, fyi : these are the things that were fixed in 58.0.2 https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/58.0.2/releasenotes/?utm_source=firefox-browser&utm_medium=firefox-browser&utm_campaign=whatsnew Not sure if any of that would have caused a issue.
That is a known issue if you disable all possible suggestions. You will have to enable at least one suggestion to make the Enter key on the location/address bar.
