where is firefox for raspberry pi 3?
Why do millions of Raspberry-users do not get a working version of Firefox?
There already was such a thread here last year but its being closed (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1168762) - without a proper solution in my opinion. The ESR-version is completely unusable compared to Chromium. Its slow as hell, uses only 1 core, startup takes extreme long...why is there still no actual Firefox? Are millions of users not enough, to let them all go to Chrome?! 3-4 years ago Firefox ran better on a Pi 1 than actual ESR on a Pi 3...
However, will Firefox ESR 60 be available for the Raspberry? Does it use Electrolysis/Multicore? And - most important - when will it be available at all?

Mozilla doesn't support the Raspbian Pi OS directly. Best to look to them directly. https://www.raspberrypi.org/
As far as Firefox 60 ESR goes, it may take some time for it to appear for Raspbian Pi OS as it is still in the "development stage". The Mozilla update for installed versions of Firefox 52.x.x ESR won't occur for a few months; 09-04-2018 per the Firefox Release Calendar. https://wiki.mozilla.org/Release_Management/Calendar There's always a 2 version overlap for the ESR version to allow "Organizations" time to 'vet' the ESR version for their install base.
Today I got an update to 52.8...wohooo. Another few months with a completely unusable version of Firefox as it got extreme slow in the last versions.
"Mozilla doesn't support the Raspbian Pi OS directly. " - ...good work, really.
Luckily there is a good and fast Chromium. Its so nice to see Mozilla hibernating.
There is another forum in Raspberry Pi Forums. See here: https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=188037

Does not help. There just is no actual version except that (outdated) ESR (Iceweasel months/years ago on a Pi 1 was twice as fast as ESR now on a Pi 3).
So no usable Firefox anymore on a device thats sold million times. Very good...I am really interested how long it will take for ESR 60 to arrive and how "good" this works compared to Chromium...
This package contains bootable 64-bit Gentoo image for the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B and B+, with Linux 4.14, and Firefox Quantum 58.
