I used to have a Mozilla account under @yahoo.com, but changed to @gmail.com, and now I can no longer sign in. I have now created a Mozilla Forum account under the name of michaeleechzilla.. I simply want to go back to my original account using the @gmail.com account. I no longer want to sign in under @yahoo.com

Mozilla is divided into several separate support/service areas. What are you trying to access?

Never post any personal information because an adware robot could find it, and start sending you all kinds of spam. This includes e-mail, phone, and home information.

Please remove that information from your post.

you want to keep using the same Firefox account then you need to have access to the primary email address (Yahoo) you used to create the Sync account. Then you can add a secondary account (Gmail) and set this as the primary account. If that isn't possible or working then you need to create a new Sync account with the Gmail address.

Thank you for the courtesy of your reply.

Is there no way to get my Mozilla account back.

Yes, I know this whole thing has left me vulnerable to being hacked.....I am not happy that the Mozilla process forced me into the Mozilla Forum position (which has left me vulnerable).

Thank you, Cor-el

No I really do not need to keep the original account

I have used Mozilla across different platforms in the past, and therefore appreciate the caution about syncing.

I do not care to open anything from Yahoo again. Now I will delete Firefox on any and all of my devices.

Thanx.......Mike

That's a bit of overkill, don't you think?

Just create a new Firefox Account using your @gmail account, and get all your devices connected to that new Firefox Account.

You won't lose any data from any device by creating a new Firefox Account and getting each device connected to that new FxA.

Just leave that @yahoo Firefox Account behind as unused, no one else can gain access to it without your log in credentials that are saved within Firefox (a dual 65 character "password" - 1 for access and 1- for data encryption); or if you want to be AR about it - delete that older @Yahoo FxAccount.
