So yesterday, everything was perfectly normal before I went to bed as usual. But today when I woke up and took my PC out of it's sleep mode, everything I do is as slow as it can be.

Where I really noticed something was wrong is when I opened up YouTube and it took like 30 seconds - 1 minute to load the page completely. Sometimes it even just gives up loading so I'm staring at a blank screen. Clicking on a video, same problem and also some buffering problems once it's actually loaded up. Also it's not only YouTube that's slow, same goes for my Gmail, Twitch, Facebook,.. even just Google takes a while.

So at that point I was guessing I had some problems with my connection but everything seemed fine when I did a speedtest and my Steam is also able to download my games at normal speeds.

Things I have tried so far:

First of all, restarted my pc, I reinstalled Firefox but no success so far. (Also my plugins/addons seem to sync up between Firefox and Chrome, not sure if that might be causing some issues) I started Firefox in safe mode but still the same issue. And finally I disabled Flash hardware accelleration.

I have never had issues with firefox like this so I hope someone can help me out with this.

Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?

It seems to be slightly better but still not even close to how it was yesterday.

But in normal mode it's still pretty bad, a little better but not how it's supposed to be.

HI, if you have no reason to not shut Firefox off or to turn off your PC while you sleep then do so as it is better for the both of them and they will both run better for it.
