When I log in to a website, it continues to be erractic + jumps; unable to read, view, access or use the contents of the site. Jave uploaded as needed 4 use
On-line vehicle tag renewal requires java and firefox. Installed and updated both. Once logged in the site is erratic and jumps so I cannot access or use to process renewal.

Hi crbb, just to clarify one thing first, most sites use JavaScript for interactivity, and not the Java plugin. Firefox handled JavaScript internally; it hasn't run the Java plugin since Firefox 51 (except in the "Extended Support Release" of Firefox 52).
Does the site give you any error messages?

When does the site jump -- for example, while you move the mouse around over the page?
Occasionally sites will change their appearance when the mouse moves over parts of them in a way that affects the layout of the page. This is difficult to work around, except by using the keyboard for navigation. For example:
Scrolling: click a background area of the page and then use the up and down arrows to scroll the page. If instead of scrolling a vertical bar moves through the text, press F7 to switch off "caret browsing."
Moving through form fields: the Tab key generally will move from one form field to the next. If you need to select from a drop-down, you usually can open it by pressing Alt+down arrow, move the selection up and down using the arrow keys, then press Enter to select the new value for that field.
