Is there a firefox build that will operate on slower internet connections?
FF 57 starts ok, but quickly slows to a crawl. I sometimes only have 4-5mps on wifi (I have no affordable alternative here in the sticks). I seem to be able to run Orfox flawlessly, but can not use it for general browsing. I'm a mechanic that needs manual pdfs and parts. I tried Focus... redundant search patterns and ad-based results.
I've tried every browser for android. Opera (no plug-ins), Edge (that's tracking), Dolphin (ad-based), Start Page... Brave holds the top spot for one I may re-install, but they do not have an easy method for clearing when I exit. Any info on a build I don't know about would be appreciated. I would really like to have a true Chromium on my android, but I can not find one that works across the board.
Thanx, Carl Fox

Have you tried disabling add-ons & plug-ins? Worked for me. Have you tried the ESRs? 4-5mbs ... I can only dream of rates that high!
