passwords never saved even though box is checked
I love the fact that firefox saves my passwords, however for some reason now even when I click the box for save they aren't saved. I don't use private browsing and don't clear my history so I'm not sure why (all of a sudden) none of my passwords are being saved. This is very frustrating! I'm hoping someone can help me fix this!!

You are using the beta version of Firefox.
Are you using any password add-ons or programs?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
still nothing saved. this is so frustrating!! used to have all of them saved, now nothing is saved, ever!!!
I answered your question but keep getting a mail delivery failure. It still happens in safe mode, I check save, go out, come back in and it's not saved. I don't use any password managers or add-on programs. Funny that this only happens with firefox, which is my browser of choice, but not IE or chrome.
Have you tried installing the normal Firefox?
