Why does a double space during composition send as "", but a single space is OK?
If I create an email in Thunderbird, when after a period I put in a double space (2 spaces), it sends to others as "" instead! This is a new issue, and I don't know what setting causes this, or how to reverse this. Using a single space after a period is OK. Can anyone help?
Thanks. Kevin

does it happen if you change the font name?
After a lot of testing, I found that it was the Text Encoding setting. When set to Western, the double space is screwed up. I set it to Unicode, and it now works fine. Thanks for responding Matt. Kevin
