I just switched from Chrome to Firefox and I really love it so far, the only thing that bothers me is the fact that my zoom is always big. I have a small laptop and want every site to be opened in 80% zoom instead of 100%. No matter which plug-in or option I tried, every tab will open in 100% zoom which is annoying as hell. I also tried the about:config stuff but it just seems that every possibility adjusts the zoom of the current page, but not when opening a new one.

Zoom Page WE should work, but finding the default zoom setting is a little challenging. I'm attaching an old screenshot, since I don't have it installed any more.

You probably should only have one of these going at the same time, or they might "fight."

Your System Details shows;

NoSquint Plus 62.1 (zoomlevelplus@zoomlevelplus.net) Zoom 2.4.2.0 (zoom@stefanvd.net) Zoom Page WE 12.0 (zoompage-we@DW-dev)

These do the same job, so they are fighting each other. Keep one and remove the others.

Would you give this a try :

On the about:config page :

Type in the search bar : browser.zoom.site

and look for the preference browser.zoom.siteSpecific

Set its value to false

Close and restart Firefox.
