Emails stuck in outbox, have to "send unsent messages" manually every time.
Hi - on my Mac Thunderbird, I suddenly have to manually send emails that get stuck in the Outbox every time I send a message. Any ideas what I can try to fix this? I reinstalled the application but that's all...

Cmd+Return is the shortcut for Send Message Now.

Messages go to the Outbox if you choose Send Later instead of Send, or if you are Offline. Check File/Offline/Work Offline to see if you are offline, and also look at settings under Preferences/Advanced/Network & Disk Space/Offline.
thanks - yes I'm choosing "send" (not send later) and all the prefs there I've set to send immediately but it's still not....
ah - I was using a key command cmd-shift-return which appears to be "Send later" ! thanks for the clue. now to find the correct key command for send now!
