Firefox not displaying the picture as its bookmark/favicon in tab
When viewing a picture in Firefox, it used to display the picture itself as a bookmark/favicon in its tab. That was super useful for anyone working with multiple tabs of pictures. But it stopped working somewhere between versions 62 and 63. Now it won't show anything or, at best, just the website's favicon if it's an online picture (please refer to the attached picture). How can I get that feature working again?
Note: "browser.chrome.favicons" doesn't exist in "about:config" in current version. So I guess solutions involving it won't work.

The browser.chrome.favicons pref is no longer supported and is merged with browser.chrome.site_icons.

Interesting. So, how can I get the tab to display the picture?
It is currently not possible to show the favicon on a tab when you open a single image in a tab, otherwise you should see the website favicon. I don't know whether they will re-add this feature.
