Cannot sign in to Mozilla Thunderbird e-mail. "Forgot username" asks for e-mail address to send a reply to. I have entered an alternate e-mail address, but a response is not received. I have checked the spam log for my ISP and the response is also not there. I am asking this question with a new forum account, so just because I have logged into support and am asking this question does not mean that my e-mail account can be logged into. (I saw a response that said the questioner had logged into support forum so there is no problem logging in. I am pre-empting that response.) Is there an alternate solution other than the e-mail solution which does not work?

This forum and your email account log in credentials have nothing to do with each other. Your email username and password are administered with your email provider. Thunderbird and this support form are not involved.
