I don't have access to my security code, or my recovery code, how can I access again my account? I've already tried to restore my password without any success.

I want to gain access to my Sync account, but I lost my phone and I recklessly deleted my recovery code when I formated to try Archlinux. Is there any way to regain access to the account? Of course I have access to my mail and password, and I already reseted it probably more than 5 times, is there anything I can do?

Hi Rainout, is the problem that the app you use for two-factor authentication is no longer available? Otherwise, it sounds like you would be okay...

To disable 2FA and set it up once again you would have to access the Firefox Account Settings page.

Did you try whether a password reset allows to access this Settings page?

If you have reset your Firefox Account (Sync) Password your Sync data is gone, if you are trying to access your Sync data.

Nothing you can do. Sync data is encrypted via the Firefox Account Password that was being used; change the Password and the data is deleted from the Sync server for a fresh load of Sync data when the new Password is used for the first time, and with subsequent connections made with that Password.

Yes, I have changed my password at least 4 times to no avail, it's still asking me for my 2FA. I don't care about the data, but having a way to sync all my internet data with my main mail will be good

The account website will keep asking for a 2FA key as long as you haven't disabled 2FA.

You can try to clear the cookies for the accounts.firefox.com website and then try to login again directly to this website to force a fresh login. A fresh login is required to be able to disable 2FA via the settings page.
