The change of default account is ignored

I'm using the version in French on Ubuntu.

Steps to reproduce: - menu > Preferences > Account Settings - select a non-default account - Account management > Default account --> the account becomes underlines, to indicate it's the default: ok - click OK to save the settings - re-open the account settings dialog --> the selected account is not underlined anymore --> writing a new e-mail still uses the old default account per default

Is the previously selected account at the very top of the account list? If so, then it is actually the default account.

I'm not sure what you mean with 'underlined'. The default account is the one at the very top in the folder pane.

It should be possible to select another account as default. That's what the menu option in "Accounts Actions" (below the list of accounts in the Accounts settings dialog) that is called "Set as Default" is meant to do. If not, what does it do ??

Ah, ok. I did not notice that the order of the accounts was changed when I choose a new default. Also, I now understand that the default account is used only when viewing local folder e-mails.
