Is there going to be an update to Lightning that makes it compatible with T-Bird?
The latest update to T-Bird has left me with no calendar because Lightning is listed as incompatible in the Add ons menu. Since I depend upon this calendar, I will have to find something else if this incompatibility is not quickly fixed

None of these techniques work. The add on manager shows Lightning as incompatible.

Well remove it! nothing will happen until you do. Unless it is still waiting for you to restart Thunderbird to install the new version. Another less likely possibility
Thank you very much. Removing Lightning and reinstalling it solved the problem.
