since TB upgrade I cannot get my email
The error message I receive is that the server has timed out.
I have started the computer and TB in safe mode, neither of which has helped.
Also tried disabling the Norton AV for the emails and that didn't make any difference either.

and your mail provider is?
Could you please do the following:
- Open the menu > Help > Troubleshooting Information, then click Copy text to Clipboard.
- Go to https://pastebin.com and paste the info from your Troubleshooting Information page, then copy the resulting URL.
- Open a reply to this post, and paste the link to your troubleshooting information.
I have the same problem (although using at&t for email via mail.yahoo,com) and this also happened after the update (60.5.3)that was automatically installed by Thunderbird on 3/10/2019. I verified that I can use my tablet to access the account and get emails with no problems. I also verified I can send emails from the Thunderbird program with no problems and the options in Thunderbird are correct.
