I am trying to log into an app. But the app is showing my phone but it will not let me touch the phone to bring it up
I am trying to tie into a hearing aid app that will allow me to control the volume on my aides. It app said that the app and phone are compatible, except when I get to the part where I select a device. It this point it shows my phone but yet I can nor touch it to be accepted

Depending on the hearing aid brand they may have FAQ on their website with information on how to do stuff like how to use the app on iOS/Android for example.
The hearing aid likely came with a manual that will have at least the basics on how to do it also.
Also your Audiologist that fitted your hearing aid could help you. Depending on complexity of hearing aid and fitting you may two or more visits to audiologist to fine tune things anyways. So that would be an occasion to ask for help on phone app.
