Firefox crashes
segfault crashes at startup .. the only output:
(firefox:1122): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: 13:53:33.274: g_object_ref: assertion 'object->ref_count > 0' failed ExceptionHandler::GenerateDump cloned child 1240 ExceptionHandler::SendContinueSignalToChild sent continue signal to child ExceptionHandler::WaitForContinueSignal waiting for continue signal...
I am guessing that it cannot send the crash report because i get this after clicking submit:
Failed to open curl lib from binary, use libcurl.so instead
i am trying to upload a zip of the pending folder as an "image" here. im not sure it worked.
This occured when updating firefox using centos's yum repository (30ish to 60). i was not able to downgrade back to 30 which leaves me without a browser. The crash reports below are from a direct download from firefox (tar.bz2 file) and belong to firefox 67

Are you talking about Firefox crashing, the computer crashing, or something else?
In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP- in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.
The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.
Using your mouse, mark the most recent 7 - 10 Submitted crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box and paste them in.

Some of your crash reports weren’t sent to the Mozilla Servers.
As mentioned in original post, firefox is crashing with a segfault at startup with almost no messages. there is no way to see about:crashes
Although the crash monitor pops up asking to submit reports, it is unable to because of another issue with libcurl (i have the newest available libcurl in centos 7 and it is in the library path)
Since it seems I cannot attach the reports, I'm not sure what to do.
I was able to get something to work by manually installing firefox 46. Firefox 55 crashes with same behavior mentioned above.
Did you verify that you meet the Firefox System Requirements?
