Default smtp.aol.com port is incorrect
Thunderbird 68.2.0 Getting lost server connection errors when connected to aol account via imap.aol.com Found that default Outgoing Server (SMTP) port setting is incorrect. Should be 465 instead of 587.

Matt, Your response prompted me to look at my Outgoing Server (SMTP) security settings. Connection security was set to STARTTLS, which has a default port of 587. If I change that to SSL/TLS, the default port is indeed 465. Thanks for your input.
